Former Malayalam Actress and wife of Malayalam filmstar Dileep, Manju Warrier performing classical dance after a gap of 14 years in Guruvayur Temple. She quit acting after marrying actor Dileep, returned to limelight after 13 years for a Kuchipudi performance. She performed on the last day of Navratri dance festival held at the Melpathur auditorium. Hundreds of spectators were seen enjoying Manju's performance on October 24.
The actress rose to fame with Lohithadas' 'Sallapam'. Dileep was her
co-star in the film. They acted in a number of hit films together till
1998, when she married him and left the industry and settled in Aluva, a
suburb of Kochi. In her interaction with media, Manju said that she is
yet to decide about continuing as a dancer or making a comeback into
movies.
Though filmmakers Sathyan Anthikkad and Ranjith were present on the occasion, her husband Dileep was not there. The rumour is that she will soon make her comeback in a film directed by a prominent director. Now, that could be a reason to celebrate for the incredible actor's fans.
